Join us for a welcoming community taster session and information evening in partnership with Kizomba Dance Academy Ireland. This event is apart of Dublin City Council Inclusion and Integration Week 2026.
This relaxed and inclusive event is designed to introduce local residents to the joy of Kizomba dance, alongside an opportunity to learn more about its rich cultural roots and the community work led by the academy in Ireland.
Whether you’re completely new to dance or simply curious, you’re warmly invited to take part—or just sit back and enjoy.
What to Expect:
- A friendly welcome and introduction to Kizomba Dance Academy Ireland
- A beginner-friendly Kizomba dance taster class (no experience needed)
- A short talk on the cultural background of Kizomba and the organisation’s mission
- Insights into ongoing community programmes and ways to get involved
- Time for questions, conversation, and informal networking

Event Environment:
The session will take place indoors in a safe, supportive, and welcoming space. Activities involve light movement and are fully guided by experienced instructors. Participation is completely optional—attendees are free to observe at any time.
Basic safety measures will be in place, including clear instructions, adequate space, and facilitator supervision throughout.
