Kick off the festivities with a special Kizomba lesson from our guest teachers, Antonio Filipe. Antonio is one of the first artists in our Kizomba community.
For the first time at Kizomba Co-op, Antonio will also be your Dj folks will bring musicality , smoothness energy, and fun to the floor. Let’s try something different!
🎶 Introducing Antonio Filipe – Master of Havaiana Kizomba & DJ Extraordinaire 💃
Get ready to be swept off your feet by the smooth, romantic rhythms of Antonio Filipe, a true pioneer of Kizomba in the UK. Originally from Angola the heartland of Kizomba Antonio began dancing at just 7 years old and has since become a celebrated performer, teacher, and DJ.
His signature style, Havaiana, is known for its graceful flow, elegant connection, and soulful charm. It’s easy to learn, beautiful to watch, and even more delightful to dance. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned dancer, Antonio’s classes and parties promise joy, connection, and unforgettable vibes.
🏆 With competition wins in Angola and Portugal, Antonio brought his passion to the UK, becoming the first Kizomba teacher in the north of England. He now teaches weekly in Sheffield, Leeds, and York, and shares his artistry at festivals and workshops across the country.
🎧 As a DJ, Antonio brings the same smooth energy to the decks curating sets that keep the dance floor flowing all night long.

We also have DJ After Party 🎉Birmingham’s rising treasure and a true master of good vibes. His journey in the Kizomba scene has been inspiring and continues to flourish. Two years ago, he launched BKIZ, Birmingham’s very own Kizomba festival, and it’s back again this 22–26 January 2026 bigger, brighter, and full of rhythm!
Let’s show him some love and support and as always, let’s have a great time together!
