🎶 Kitty and the Rooster – Live in Burns Lake! 🎶Burns Lake Music Society, in partnership with Home Routes, is thrilled to present Kitty and the Rooster at the Heritage Church on Feb 28th!
Take the name Kitty and the Rooster, add guitarist Noah Walker and drummer Jodie Ponto’s chicken and cat masks, and you might expect a barnyard Slipknot. Wrong. Those masks come off quickly as the duo unleashes a retro-spectacular sound reminiscent of Southern Culture on the Skids, Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, and the Reverend Horton Heat. Fans of music with a side of politics will especially enjoy Paid a Million Dollars (To Live Like You’re Poor) — a modern Vancouver municipal anthem.
