Meet at the Elementary School Outdoor Classroom)Spring is beginning to wake up, and we’re heading outside to look for the first signs of the season! Join us for a guided nature walk as we explore the park and learn how to spot early spring changes in plants and wildlife.
Along the way, we’ll keep our eyes open for signs such as robins returning, ruffed grouse, morning cloak butterflies, colt’s foot, soap berries, pussy willows, ants becoming active, and tree buds starting to swell. Every walk is a little different, and part of the fun is discovering what nature reveals that day.
This is a relaxed, family-friendly outing designed to encourage curiosity, observation, and connection with the natural world. Dress for the weather and be ready to explore as we welcome spring together! 🌱🐦🦋
