Hi everyone! We have dates for Kit's community Celebration of Life - and we so look forward to being together to honour our beloved Kit and all he has been and done for all of us. Many details yet to come - but for now, just mark your calendars for SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 28th, all day down at our favourite oceanfront spot. (possible Friday 27th evening function coming together as well - maybe pencil that night in too).
Our main Celebration of Life on Saturday Sept28th will be a long day together to connect, to cry & grieve, to laugh & dance, to honour Kit & share our favourite stories. There will be a ceremony and sharing, a potluck meal, and lots of music and dance. Ruby will be joining us - she has expressed her support and gratitude to the community for bringing this event together - so thanks to all!
We will need lots of community support pulling this together - including setup, care for the space, teardown, creating an altar, decorating our zone, organizing the potluck, equipment & tech (and muscle to carry it!)... so please join the team if you're able to contribute in some way. Msg Jason Guille if you are available to join one of the teams for this event.
