Hanover Township, in partnership with Forest Preserves of Cook County and Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison, will be honoring Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month by hosting a Kite Fest. This free event includes kite crafts, kite flying, nature activities, a bounce house, popcorn and snow cones.The event partner, Brookfield Zoo, will also be bringing a surprise animal from their Animal Ambassador program.
