Join us for an interactive evening with Chef Joe Kim as part of our Kitchen Takeover: A Chef Showcase series.
This hands-on class focuses on two of Korea’s most iconic dishes — kimchi and bulgogi — offering a balance of technique, tradition, and creativity in an approachable and engaging format.
Guests will take the lead in creating their own kimchi, learning the fundamentals of fermentation and how to build bold, balanced flavors from simple ingredients. While traditional napa cabbage will be the foundation, you’ll leave with the knowledge to experiment and create your own variations at home.
Chef Kim will also demonstrate the essentials of bulgogi, including how to build a classic marinade using fresh ingredients like grated pear, along with techniques you can easily recreate in your own kitchen.
Whether you’re an experienced home cook or just getting started, this class is designed to be welcoming, interactive, and fun.
