About this Event
A Partnership between Lansing Makers Network and Lansing Foodies!
During this make&take event, you'll move through stations , fix things from your own kitchen, and make some new items to improve your cooking experience.
Stations:
- Cast Iron Refresh: Sand, season, and heat your cast iron to restore its non-stick surface.
- Knife Sharpening: Get your kitchen knives back to peak performance! Knives sharpened by Hometown Hone.
- Cutting Board Resurface: Sand down and oil your wooden cutting boards for a like-new finish.
- Customize Drinkware: Sandblast custom designs onto your own cups, glasses, or mugs. We'll have pint glasses available as well.
- Laser Engraved Salt Cellar: Customize a wooden Salt Cellar on the laser cutter with Lansing Foodies.
- You're a Towel! Stamp and print custom tea towels. Make functional art for your kitchen.
Each station is scheduled for 30 minutes and will rotate.
We'll have merch for sale and and art-swap board, plus a food-truck to be announced.
Outside you'll find the Red Ledge Brewers Guild hosting their annual Big Brew!
Live brewing demonstrations and experts available to teach you the basics of brewing beer, cider, and mead.
