A kitchen charm is a charm made to cleanse the space of your kitchen, which has always been the most important place in a home. Your kitchen used to be the center gathering place of the home; it’s where the hearth was located back in the day and provided the warmth of the home, as well as being the place for sustenance. The kitchen is central to witchcraft; it is the epicenter of creation, survival, and creativity. These are hand strung charms, each made carefully and with positive intention and herbs/fruits chosen for specific purposes.
Bay leaf is used for prosperity, protection, and cleansing; and is included to help absorb all the negative energy surrounding it. The orange slices are used to bring in the energy of the sun; citrus fruits attract good energy and high vibrations. These are included to add an uplifting energy to the home, to fill where the negativity was removed. And finally cinnamon sticks are used for protection, love, luck, strength, prosperity; a wide variety of things.
