Ready, set, GLUE! Get ready for an exciting Build-Off Competition hosted by Tactics, the Perth Display Painters Guild and Tabletop Support, dedicated to promoting mental health awareness through the art of kitbashing!"What is Kitbashing" you ask? Take an ordinary model, a heap of random bits from other kits, and let your imagination blend the two into something unique and amazing. In this competition, you'll have the chance to transform a variety of miniatures into extraordinary works of art, all while supporting a noble cause. All entrants will get to keep their entries, and we encourage you all to take some snaps of the painted piece.
At Tabletop Support, we believe that creativity improves our wellbeing. Engaging in artistic pursuits like kitbashing can be incredibly therapeutic, providing an outlet for self-expression and mindfulness. By participating in this competition, you're not only showcasing your talent but also helping to raise awareness for mental health issues.
What to Expect on the day
Prizes – Entries will be judged on the day, with prizes going to the three most creative models after tools are downed. We’ll also be running a community prize after two weeks, so participants can post and share their painted miniatures.
What to Bring – Participants are invited to bring their own hobby tools and glue. All plastic pieces will be available on the day.
