An evening of chant and heartsong with Siward Mullens & George Walker.We will open the evening with half an hour of gentle yoga with Kate, to prepare the body to sit for this meditative evening. Then Siward & George will lead us through a round of ancient Sanskrit chants songs and silences, inviting you to relax, centre, meditate and delve deeper into the mystery!
We share sacred space in a relaxed informal inclusive manner, mixing Indian and western instruments and styles handing out drums and percussion as we go. Part celebration, part meditation, we honour the many paths and traditions we have followed over the years but return again and again to the silence, the meditative space.
We usually sing for about an hour and a half and end the evening with tea, prasad and snacks and a chance to catch up.
