Lana is a lover of movement, music, and creative expression. Originally from Canada, she has been teaching yoga and leading kirtan since 2009. Lana began studying Sanskrit with Marla Meenakshi Joy of Swaha in 2004, and has shared chant internationally, including collaborations with Brenda McMorrow, Lee Harris, Dave Stringer, David Newman, Swaha, Girish, Narada Wise, and many others. She has two albums of mantra music: Invocation (2013), and Reverence (2017). Lana also holds an MFA in Acting and is an Assistant Professor of Theatre at UB!http://sugarmanyoga.com
