About us:
Kalyani and Samuel - Kirtan meets classical guitar.
After finishing school, Kalyani lived for several years at an international yoga- and meditation center in Germany. There, as well as in India, she learned and practiced Kirtan and has since been giving many concerts and workshops within Europe and beyond. She has been on the path of Bhakti Yoga for over 20 years now.
Since 2022, Kalyani has been working and performing with the worldwide-renowned classical guitarist Samuel T. Klemke. Samuel was born into a spiritual family and has been practicing meditation and music in accordance with vedic traditions since early childhood.
The concerts of Kalyani and Samuel stand out for their mood of deep, spiritual devotion. Kalyanis soft, warm voice directly touches the heart of the listener and is skillfully accompanied by Samuels guitar playing, hence beautifully combining elements of klassical western with classical Indian music.
