KIPP Washington Heights Middle School provides high-quality education to students in grades 5-8 at our Mirabal Sisters Campus in Washington Heights. What makes us special? We support, challenge, and inspire students through rigorous, culturally relevant instruction that nurtures intellect, honors identity, and promotes self-determined success. We teach the whole child—academically, emotionally, and socially. Our vibrant learning community features:

- weekly Monarch Meetings where the entire school gathers to celebrate achievements and share performances
- Principal's List Celebration each trimester honoring students with 3.5+ GPA (with commemorative sweaters!)
- Cafe con Leche monthly family discussions about middle school transitions
- cultural celebrations for Latinx Heritage Month, Black History Month, and Women's History Month
- Monarch support blocks with individualized academic supports
- free aftercare through DYCD providing homework help and enrichment
- diverse clubs including Chess, Photography, Step, Juice Making, Hair Care, Animation, and Robotics
