Modern-day kinusaiga is a Japanese “no-sew” quilting technique, often described as “painting with fabric.” It has evolved into a popular, sustainable, and beginner-friendly art form. Designs are created using different pieces of fabric, sometimes resulting in a textured, mosaic-like, even slightly 3D appearance—all without any stitching or glue.In this workshop, you will have a design and be able to select your own fabric colors to personalize your artwork. It’s a fun and creative evening where you’ll learn a new technique, and all supplies are provided.
Please visit www.artmakerystudio.com to register. All payments must be made before the workshop in order to have enough supplies.
The workshop fee is $35 (includes all supplies).
