Kintsugi Art Workshop: The Beauty of Our ScarsFostering healing through the process of making art
With Cinthya Font - Healing Arts Facilitator
Date and time: Sept 25 6-8PM
Join me for a transformative art therapy experience where we’ll work with an anatomical heart, a symbol of our deepest feelings. We’ll paint it freely symbolizing our trust. Then, in a powerful act of release, we’ll break the heart with a hammer, mirroring the moments when our own hearts have been shattered.
With tenderness, we’ll gather the pieces and mend them with care, painting gold along the cracks to honor their story.
This process draws on the Japanese art of Kintsugi: the belief that beauty lives within our imperfections and that something once broken can return even more precious than before.
Through this ritual, we’ll give form to our pain, witness it, and lovingly reframe it into something whole and radiant. Our time together will open and close with a short guided meditation, there will be space for connection, and the comfort of healing herbal tea.
