About this Event
Join us for the Kingswood School Education Conference, an evening of research-informed practice, professional dialogue, and collaborative learning designed to strengthen classroom impact and school improvement.
Taking place on Monday 22nd June 2026 (6–8pm), the conference brings together leading voices in education alongside Kingswood School practitioners to explore key issues shaping teaching, learning, and student experience today.
Guests will hear from Professor Gail Forey, Associate Dean of Education at the University of Bath, on disciplinary literacy and corpus-based pedagogy, and Dr Rachel Wilder, Lecturer and Researcher in Education, on child-on-child harm in schools and the importance of pupil voice in informing whole-school approaches. Alongside these keynote contributions, Kingswood staff will deliver a series of micro-INSET sessions showcasing practical, classroom-focused strategies.
The evening will also provide opportunities for professional networking and discussion over refreshments, supporting collaboration and the sharing of best practice across the education community.
