KINGSTON, NY – Mayor Steven T. Noble is pleased to announce that the City of Kingston, in partnership with the Hudson River Maritime Museum, the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, and Radio Kingston, will host the 12th annual Kingston Earth Fair on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11:00am to 5:00pm at T.R. Gallo Park.The 2026 Earth Fair is a free family event hosted with support from The 8th Step, Catskill Mountainkeeper, Live Well Kingston, Climate Smart Kingston, Wild Earth, and New Yorkers for Clean Power.
Mayor Noble said, “We are gearing up for another wonderful Earth Fair community event this May. Thanks to our partners at Clearwater, Radio Kingston, and The 8th Step, we have a stellar line-up of musical guests and performers entertaining throughout the day on two stages. We would not be able to put this event together without the generosity of our local sponsors. We hope everyone will come out to the waterfront to enjoy this year’s festival of music, dancing, kids’ activities, environmentally friendly vendors and exhibitors, food vendors and so much more.”
The 2026 Earth Fair will feature live Clearwater Festival music and performances, including David Amram, Arm of the Sea Theater, Alessandra Gonzalez, Key of Q, Kofi & Sankofa Drum & Dance Ensemble, Mid-Hudson Juggling Club, Sara Milonovich, Elizabeth Mitchell & You Are My Flower, Native American Water Ceremony, Madeleine Peyroux, The Restless Age, Amber Rubarth, and Pablo Shine Latin Jazz Band.
The 2026 Earth Fair will also feature kids’ activities and games, a solar-powered merry-go-round, free Solaris boat rides, Clearwater tours, and local vendors and exhibitors.
The City will provide free electronic waste collection for items like computers and televisions, and free refrigerant collection for items like old refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, or air conditioners. Free paper shredding/recycling will be available, sponsored by Archtop Fiber. Participants are also encouraged to bring gently used outdoor gear like raincoats, gloves, mittens, hats, and more for the Gear Giveaway.
Parking will be limited. A free UCAT shuttle bus will run between the Cornell Street parking lot, the Kingston Point Beach parking lot, and T.R. Gallo Park all day, and a bike valet will be available at T.R. Gallo Park.
