We go again! The daffodils and snowdrops are out, the birds are chirping, the clocks are about to change, Spring is in the air…….and King of the Cup is on the horizon.
KOTC 2026 takes place four weeks from today, Good Friday 3rd April.
King of the Cup has absolutely thrived in recent years as it approaches its modern era 25th anniversary (note for your diaries: 26th March 2027 is our Silver Jubilee year and we’re planning to go BIG).
A slightly earlier Easter means, as always, we hope for good weather, but regardless, the usual menu will be available:
* The cricket club bar will be open from 11am - 5pm
* Loaded Fries
* Harris’ Hog Roast
* What the truck (burgers and hot dogs)
* Jim’s Ice Cream
* Bouncy castles
* Junior KOTC (Secondary school)
* Junior Junior KOTC (Primary school)
* Main KOTC - Mitch Gooderham defends his title
* DJ
The main tournament kicks off from midday (ish) with the traditional warm-up games before that (£10 entrance fee per player).
The Junior tournaments will start simultaneously around 2pm (free entry).
A polite request to use the bins and portable toilets that will be provided.
