Join Us for the King Cake Party!Sac Town Mardi Gras is proud to present our annual King Cake Party on Monday, January 6, 2026, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Oak Park Brewery. This festive evening will feature live music, Mardi Gras fun, and of course, delicious King Cake—plus the crowning of our 2026 King & Queen!
This event is more than a celebration—it’s the official kickoff to the 2026 Mardi Gras Season, running from January 6 through February 17. Sac Town Mardi Gras, founded in 2023, has brought the spirit and traditions of New Orleans to Sacramento through parades, festivals, and community programs. Our mission is to celebrate culture while uplifting Sacramento’s youth through our 4U youth components: Bully Busters, Vape Busters, After the Shot, and AI & Tech Training.
The King Cake Party serves as a fundraiser, with a $20 donation at the door directly supporting the purchase of Mardi Gras beads for our 2026 Broadway Parade & Festival. Every bead thrown represents community joy, culture, and connection.
We invite you to come out, celebrate with us, and support all of our upcoming fundraisers that keep Sac Town Mardi Gras growing strong—including:
- Jambalaya on the River (November 9, 2025)
- Black Tie Art Gala & Fashion Show (December 6, 2025)
- And of course, the 4th Annual Mardi Gras Parade & Wellness Festival on Broadway (February 7, 2026)
Together, we are keeping the Mardi Gras tradition alive in Sacramento.
