About this Event
Join artist Simeon Barclay (curator of Kinda Blu) and Dr Ian Sergeant (Senior Curator, Global Majority Collections, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery) for a discussion around national collections and the ways that they have local relevance and meaning.This event brings together Simeonโs experience of working with the Arts Council Collection and Ianโs West Midlands-based expertise for an insightful and discursive event.
Following the discussion will be an opportunity to visit the exhibition with Simeon and members of the Coventry Biennial team.- -This project has been co-commissioned by Arts Council Collection and Coventry Biennial and is generously supported by Birmingham Museums.
