About this Event

Kin Cuppa & Chat is a weekly session to talk to other parents while the wee ones play. There is usually a themed sessions each month with guests and a Q&A. We also provide refreshments for parents, and lots for the babies to explore. Suitable for parents and carers with babies and toddlers up to 24 months, siblings also welcome - under 5s are not included in the head count. Booking for each session is essential, drop in places are not available at this time.

Examples of upcoming sessions:

Parenting Hints & Tips - becoming a parent can feel like such a big learning curve and this session is all about sharing hints and tips with each other to help along the way. Conversation and Q&A with Antenatal and Baby Teacher Kathryn

Infant feeding - a peer support session focused on all aspects of infant feeding including breast, bottle, pumping and weaning.

Sleep - what's normal? For you and your baby - it often feels like one of the biggest challenges of early parenthood. Chat to Kin founder Kathryn about infant sleep and all the variations of normal.

Thinking about cloth nappies and reusable wipes but not sure where to start or worried it might be too much work? Join Tina for a demonstration and hear her hints and tips on how to get started.

If you are thinking about returning to exercise but have some questions or want to find out where to start join Lisa of BabyFitUK talking all about postpartum fitness and look after your wellbeing.

About to or already started Weaning? Our first aid trainer Jo will be on hand to help answer questions and discuss some common concerns such as choking and allergies.

Our Easter, Halloween and Christmas sessions will provide themed snacks and activities. Festive dress up for the wee ones definitely optional (but encouraged)!
