Explore Kimono Beyond Rules, Gender, and Perfection! Kimono Punk is a guided styling experience inspired by the spirit of Yokai — exploring kimono (着物) as a living, evolving form of creative expression.Set within the atmosphere of the Yokai exhibition, participants are invited to approach kimono freely, intuitively, and playfully.
Kimono Punk follows the Yokai spirit — encouraging playful experimentation, personal storytelling, and freedom beyond convention.
It is not about wearing kimono “correctly.”
It is about living culture, play, and personal expression.
