Join Kim Maguire and friends for an evening of joyful jazz and more! John Hansen on piano, Susan Pascal on vibes, Chris Symer on bass and Jeff Busch on drums.New stuff! Mostly show-tunes sung in a jazz style. "I Could Have Danced All Night", "Moonshine Lullaby" (Annie Get Your Gun), "If I Loved You", "You're the Top", and more. Kim's philosophy: "Despite the chaos outside, we can always find a way back to our joyful and deeper selves, through music. And that joy is contagious. That is why I sing."
A lifelong singer, Kim has spent the past 30 years as a full-time performer, educator, and producer. Kim’s musical journey began in childhood, performing alongside her mother, a professional classical musician. Throughout her teen and adult years, she has sung professionally across the United States, including New York, Minneapolis, Houston, and Seattle. For the past 15 years, Kim has dedicated her singing career to jazz, diligently studying the craft, producing her own shows and performing at Seattle venues including Tula’s, Benaroya Hall, Town Hall, Boxley’s, North City Bistro, Egan's Ballard Jamhouse and the MQ Lounge at Triple Door, among many others. As an educator, Kim has taught private voice lessons for over 30 years and produced more than 25 student showcases, passionately helping others discover their singing and personal voices.
