🎤 Billy Dixon — “The Man Is Back”
A Vancouver native, Billy started singing at age 10 and has been captivating audiences ever since. As the powerhouse front man for iconic Vancouver groups — including the unforgettable Night Train Revue — Billy lit up stages across the city.
He later formed New Breed, a big horn show band that became a local favourite. Even during the disco era, when he stepped back to explore other projects, Billy still found his way onto the stages of the Arts Club, the Commodore, Richards on Richards, the Fairview, and the Yale.
In 1986, Billy made his triumphant return to the Vancouver music scene, reuniting with Night Train Revue for Expo celebrations and the Dance Party 20th Anniversary — reminding everyone why he’s considered one of the most charismatic entertainers this city has ever produced.
🎶 Soul Train Express
Billy handpicked the finest musicians to create Soul Train Express, a band known for its tight sound, big energy, and unforgettable live shows. They’ve rocked venues like the Yale, the Firefighters’ Club, Lulu’s Lounge at River Rock Casino, the Lion’s Den at Boulevard Casino, and countless private events.
