After-school enrichment with a purpose. Mindful, playful, and empowering!Join The Mindfulness Movement for a 4-week Kids Yoga Club designed to help children unwind after school through movement, mindfulness, and fun. In partnership with Mounds View Community Education, this after-school program at Island Lake Elementary School offers a joyful and engaging space where kids can:
Learn beginner-friendly yoga poses
Explore calming breathing techniques
Practice mindful games and reflections
Build emotional regulation and focus skills
Connect with peers in a supportive and inclusive environment
Led by licensed teacher and certified yoga instructor Tara Willits, each session is designed to support your child’s whole-body wellness. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.
