Kids Urban Garden Experience
Hey, little green thumbs and parents!
Join us for a fun-filled, in-person, Spring Break activity where your kids get to explore the world of urban gardening.
Your little gardener will learn how to plant seeds, care for plants, and how they grow, composting, chicken care, make garden arts and crafts, and more!
It's a hands-on, messy, and totally exciting experience for elementary school students!
Perfect for curious kids eager to get their hands dirty and discover nature in the city. Come dig in and make new friends!
This event is led by TK Urban Garden co-founder Ms. K, a former garden teacher at Rowan Elementary School (SDUSD), and has been in the arts education field for over 25 years!
PLEASE NOTE: TK Urban Garden is a licensed home-based, family-owned small business in Encanto/National City. The instructor has carries a state issued teaching permit (CL-505p) and has completed a thorough background check. These are the same requirements used for substitute teachers within the state school districts.
Parents are also welcome to join the garden tour to familiarize themselves with the space where your kids are learning on the day.
