Calling all young warriors! Come and develop those sword fighting skills to make you the best on the battlefield, the deck of a ship or out in a galaxy far far away!In this 45min-1hr workshop the young warriors will begin their journey in understanding the principles of sword fighting including footwork, parries and attacks.
Drawing on real historical styles and stage/screen combat making helping you look cool whilst also keeping you safe.
For this workshop we will be using foam swords with the chance to look at some real ones after.
Please be aware this workshop requires a basic level of fitness and movement.
Cost: £7 per child + £1 Poly Fund
All children must be accompanied by an adult (max 1 adult per 3 children).
Each participating child will need a ticket.
Responsible adults must stay for the whole workshop. There will be a Parent Corner to sit and relax if you wish. You can also get 10% off in The Poly Café and Bar if you show your ticket before, during or after
Please be aware, we reserve the right to postpone a workshop if a minimum number or pre bookings in not meet.
