⭐️KIDS SUMMER BAKING CLASS⭐️Are your kids interested in baking and decorating? Are they eager to learn new skills this summer? Join Cake & Crumb for our Kids Summer Baking Class!
This class will run from 10am-3pm. Participants will begin the day with a tour of our bakery and instructions on how to properly use kitchen equipment. They will then follow along as the class prepares and bakes the following:
Banana bread
Sugar cookies
Scones
After breaking for lunch, the afternoon will be spent decorating the banana bread with buttercream, and sugar cookies with royal icing.
All participants will take home their freshly baked treats, along with the recipes they used during class.
After completing this class, participants will know how to:
Safely work with kitchen equipment
Properly clean and sanitize kitchen area
Weigh and measure ingredients
Read recipes
Recognize when items are baked vs. underbaked
Decorate baked items
Understand baking science
Participants will not have access to our ovens. Participants are required to bring their own apron and lunch/water. We are unable to accommodate participants with allergies.
Tickets are non-refundable.
This class is suitable for ages 10+. We are unable to accommodate spectators, therefore participants must be comfortable without parent supervision.
