FUN, ACTIVE & OUTDOORS!Our Spring Holidays Kid's Camp is perfect for kids and teens aged between 8 & 16 who would like to have an AWESOME time on the water while learning kayaking skills and making friends. Our Kids Camp is run by experienced and passionate paddling instructors who keep everyone safe on the water and everyday full of fun (check out the timetable below for full details). All skill levels from complete beginner to current AusPaddlers are welcome to attend.
WHAT YOU GET:
Three days of kayaking 9 am - 3 pm daily. Learn to Kayak Sessions for Beginners & Skills Sessions for more advanced paddlers - to allow everyone to get some awesome new skills
Water Safety Training - learn how to be safe around the water and to provide kayak rescues
Maximum ratio of 1:8, instructor to paddler ratio, allowing everyone to get individual attention
Different activities every day to keep everyone excited and engaged
Daily morning tea.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
WHEN: September 24 - 26, 9am - 3pm
WHERE: West Fyans Street Boat Ramp, Newtown, Geelong
INCLUSIONS: 3 x 6 hour sessions led by experienced instructors and daily morning tea. Kayaks, paddles and PFDs are all provided for use during the program.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: A change of clothes including lots of layers to change into if needed, a towel, sunscreen, personal medicines, lunch and a full water bottle
WHAT YOU NEED TO WEAR: Clothes you don't mind getting wet and a sun hat
TIMETABLE
Day 1
Introduction, safety briefing, group allocation, kayaking skills (suitable for the paddlers skill level), on water games and splashtastic water safety and rescue training.
Day 2
Expedition, take part in the epic journey from the Barwon River Boat Ramp to the Moorabool River junction and Red Gum Island, while earning all about the Barwon River ecosystem.
Day 3
From fun races to canoe polo (an on the water ball game) and finishing with an awesome kayaking team challenge, this is the day to show off all your new paddling skills.
