Kids Pottery Boot Camp / 9-14 year olds
July 30th - August 6th
Daily Classes
Monday- Friday
From : 11am - 1pm
We are excited to host our Kids Boot Camps!
These classes are fun and project based for the kids. Every class we will start with a handbuilding project like making a mug or a set of nesting bowls or spoon rest and decorating the objects we make with color and texture. A then offers a small snack break if needed then the second half of class we will all hop on the pottery wheel and let the children have a ton of fun while learning the basics on the wheel.
We finish class with a 15 minute clean up. The last Class is on Monday July 29th- This class is a celebration party to pick up finished pieces and sit together, eat something good and talk about our pottery pieces. It is good for the kids to talk about how they felt making their piece and how they feel about the outcome and what they learned about clay.
We encourage parents to pack a snack and a water bottle. Parents are welcome to stay during class. We will have a waiver sheet that will be handed out the first day that will need to be signed by a guardian. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
