If you ask your parents or grandparents what they did on Memorial Day as a kid, chances are they'll say, "I decorated my bike and peddled in the parade!" The parade was full of kids and families coming together to honor & remember the fallen as a community. Help us bring back this Columbiana tradition in a BIG way! Meet us in the pop-up park on South Main Street, directly next to Columbiana Nutrician at 9 am. Bring your bike, wagon, or stroller to decorate patriotically, or walk along with us! A limited amount of decorations will be available; however, you are encouraged to bring your own or arrive decorated.
Parade take-off time is 10 am, heading up East Park Ave to The Firestone Cemetery for American Legion Post 290's Memorial Day ceremony.
A limited number of free donuts will be provided.
Several PRIZES for the most creative and patriotic decorations!
