About this Event
As the timeless proverb goes: "Give a child a bowl of pasta, you feed them for a day. Teach them how to make pasta, you feed them for a lifetime (and they also will make pasta for their parents)."
On Sunday 21st August London’s hottest pasta-related event of the summer is coming to Canary Wharf – Emilia’s first ever Summer Pasta Festival!
Our restaurant, outdoor areas, riverside terrace and surrounding parks and greenery will be transformed into a summer festival filled with live music, various pasta-themed masterclasses and kids activities - all in the name of celebrating pasta!
And what better way to share our joy of pasta making than by teaching your kids how to make pasta - all for free!Over the course of the day, we’ll be holding masterclasses in one the top 3 essential skills of life: making pasta from scratch (the other 2 being, of course, drinking water and breathing). So get ready to learn how to prepare, roll and shape 3 different ways your very own pasta dough, all guided by our pasta chefs and team over the course of one half-hour(ish) session.
What’s more, you’ll get to take your pasta dough and shapes home with you, so you can impress your family / dates / mates / pets / yourself with your latest talents.
The event at glace:
- We'll run 3 pasta masterclasses for kids: 12pm, 1pm, 2pm
- Each class will run approximately 30 minutes
- At Emilia's Canary Wharf, 12 George Street, Wood Wharf, E14 9QG
- Free for kids (no age restriction)
- All equipment, ingredients and Italian vibes provided
- In case you can’t get a ticket, please note that we’ll be leaving some spaces for our pasta masterclasses for walk-ins and also have many other events and activities happening during our festival!
We look forward to meeting London’s newest chefs! ?❤️
(P.S. Pictures and videos will be taken during the day, so in case you prefer not to be portrayed, please let the organiser know)
