Parents have a night off, while kids enjoy an evening of Garden activities and nighttime adventure. This month, we’ll explore the lives of one of the most overlooked and misunderstood species – opossums! Did you know opossums have thumbs on their back feet? And they’re actually marsupials with pouches like kangaroos! We’ll conduct experiments, make a track replica, and explore the Garden after dark! We’ll end the night making s’mores over a campfire.Ages 8-12. This is a drop-off program. Pre-registration is required. No night of registrations will be accepted. Please meet at the classroom, and come dressed for the outside. Close-toed shoes are required! Fee: $35 per child, $25 per child for members.
