Turn clay into creativity you can use again and again! In this imaginative three-hour workshop, young artists will design and build their very own reusable dry erase boards using hand built clay techniques. Students will shape and decorate a personalized clay frame. Inside that frame will be a smooth white glazed surface that can be written on with a dry erase marker. This piece can be used as a drawing surface, or a message board perfect for notes, reminders, or daily inspirations!
Along the way, students will learn foundational pottery skills such as slab building, smoothing, and surface design while discovering how clay can transform into a functional object.
All materials included.
No prior clay experience is needed – just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy. Finished pieces will be fired in the kiln and ready for pickup on a later date.
