Join Perry Leisure Services on April 18, 2026, at Rozar Park (1060 Keith Drive) for a morning designed to encourage youth to learn about fishing and enjoy time with family.This event is open to children of all ages, but participants must be accompanied by an adult. Both competitive and non-competitive participants are welcome, making it a great experience for beginners and young anglers alike!
Participants are asked to bring their own fishing poles, reels, and buckets. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will also be on site with their REEL Wagon for those who need to borrow equipment. Bait and tackle will be provided while supplies last, and adults are encouraged to assist children throughout the event.
Pre-registration is available through RecDesk to help speed up check-in. On-site registration will also be available beginning at 8:00 a.m.

On-site Registration: 8:00 a.m.
Pre-registered Check-in: 8:30 a.m.
Fishing begins at 9:00 a.m. (listen for starter signal)
Weigh-in and Awards: 11:00 a.m.
Lunch: 12:00 p.m. (while supplies last)
