This is one of those events that truly feels like a part of our community's history.The Georgina Lehne Memorial Youth Fishing Derby returns on April 11, 2026 from 8am–12pm at Spillway Pond. We're sharing the date early so families can plan ahead and mark their calendars now.
This long-standing tradition brings our community together for a morning of fishing, connection, and lasting memories for our kids.
Event details:
Location: Spillway Pond (must have gate access)
Registration begins at 7am, event ends at noon.
Free fishing for ages 12 and under (with adult supervision)
Limit 3 fish per angler
Free event includes: Hot chocolate, hotdogs, chips, soda, cookies, and water.
Whether your child is brand new to fishing or already loves being out on the water, this is a special day you won't want to miss. We look forward to seeing our families gathered at the pond again on April 11, 2026.
