Come to Watauga’s Capp Smith Park to enjoy a fun evening with the family, fishing and camping out under the stars from 5pm on September 12th to 10am on the 13th! Poles and bait will be provided; feel free to bring your own. This FREE event is open to all! Don’t forget to bring your tent and camping gear!The fishing Derby is from 6pm-9pm for kids ages 16 and under, but people of all ages are more than welcome to fish! The campout will end on September 14th at 10am.
*Adults 17 and older are required to have a fishing license. Fishing licenses are not required for kids 16 and younger. This is a catch-and-release event.
*Registration is required. Registration will open on August 1st. Registration can be done online or at the Hector F. Garcia Community Center located at 7901 Indian Springs Rd. or at Capp Smith Park the day of after between 5-6pm. Questions? Call 817-514-5828
