About this Event
Join us for a fun, hands-on Kids Cooking Class where little chefs (ages 5 -13) will learn how to make simple, healthy, and plant-based meals. In this interactive class, children will prepare vegan mac and cheese, and Pineapple ice-cream —all plant-based and packed with nutrition.
Kids will discover the joy of cooking while building confidence in the kitchen, learning about healthy eating, and making food that supports energy, focus, and overall wellness.
📅 Date & Time: Friday, June 5 , 2026 | 11 AM – 1 PM
At the end of the class, your child will enjoy a plant-based lunch with other children. Please bring a container so we can avoid using disposables and your child can take their food home, that is if there's any leftover!

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Newmarket Seventh-day Adventist Church, we are able to offer this class at a reduced cost to serve the Newmarket community.
A minimum donation of $20 per child is required to reserve a spot.
Seats will only be reserved once payment is received.
Please note: This class recommends parental assistance, if your children do not feel comfortable working alone.
