Kids Book Club is kid-planned and kid-led. We'd love to have your young person join us. We usually meet the 2nd Sunday of the month at 3 pm. Please watch for exceptions/date changes. Kids pick the book at the end of each session for the next month. KBC is best for age 4/Pre-K- 5th grade. Independent reading skills are not necessary, as long as they can listen to an audio version or have their grown-up read the book to them prior to the event.
At KBC, the kids meet for a thematic snack and discussion about the book. They then participate in an activity or do a craft project related to the story. We end by voting on the next book and say our goodbyes. We welcome parents to spend about 10 minutes at the end to help with clean-up.
