Georgia Area Families — Want to Learn How to Grow Your Own Food With Your Kids?
Fresh fruits and vegetables are becoming more expensive every year. For many families, especially in communities with limited access to healthy foods, it can be difficult to maintain a nutritious diet. But what if your family could learn how to grow your own vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices right at home?
DFOWW Incorporated is hosting a fun, hands-on Kids & Parents Gardening + Nutrition Workshop where families will learn practical skills to help improve health, reduce grocery costs, and build lifelong healthy habits. This interactive workshop will teach families: How to grow vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices, Container gardening techniques for small spaces, Understanding plant life cycles Simple ways to reduce grocery expenses by growing food at home.
