WHAT IS KICKS & THREADS?
Kicks & Threads is a free community back-to-school event for kids Kindergarten through 12th grade featuring:
• A pop-up shoe shop
• A fill-a-bag thrift experience
• Community support in a fun, welcoming atmosphere
This event is open to ALL families — not based on income. Thrifting unique finds is trendy right now, especially for junior high and high school students, and we wanted to create an experience that feels exciting, fun, and accessible for everyone in our community.

👟 SHOES FOR KIDS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We are currently collecting:
• New shoes of all sizes
• Gently used shoes
• Cleats for all sports, new to good condition.
• New socks
All donated shoes should be in GOOD condition with:
✔ No holes
✔ No major scuffs/damage
✔ Plenty of life left in them
Registration for the shoe portion opens June 1st and spots will be limited.
Each registered child will get to shop our pop-up shoe store featuring new and gently used shoes donated by the community.
HOW THE SHOE SHOP WILL WORK:
• Families must register ahead of time
• Families will check in at the event
• Groups will be called into the shoe shop throughout the evening
• Our goal is for every child to leave feeling confident and supported heading into the new school year
If a child does not find shoes in their size or style preference, additional support options may be available.

🛍️ FILL-A-BAG THRIFT EXPERIENCE

Every child Kindergarten through 12th grade will receive a bag upon arrival to fill with:
• Clothes
• Accessories
• Good finds
• Trendy pieces
• Everyday basics
✔ FREE
✔ No registration required
✔ Open to EVERYONE
Whether your kids love vintage finds, streetwear, trendy pieces, basics, or just good deals — this experience is for them.
We wanted to bring the fun thrifting experience closer to home so families don’t have to drive into Houston to enjoy it.

We are accepting donations during the following times:
Mondays: 10AM–3PM
Wednesdays: 6PM–8PM
Thursdays: 10AM–3PM
Sundays: 9AM–11:30AM

• New & gently used clothes sizes kids 5T to adult men’s & womens.
• Local business partners willing to host donation baskets
