Community Libraries of Providence has partnered with The Guild Brewery in Pawtucket for its Pints with Purpose charitable giving program. As part of the program, CLPVD gets our own beer, The Dewey Decimator, for sale in the taproom from November 13th to through the 27th. For every beer sold, CLPVD gets $2.00 for our libraries. We also get to host some fun events and want you to join us!Come out for our kick-off event at The Guild in Pawtucket, 461 Main Street, on November 13th! From 5:30 to 8:00, we will be featuring makerspace stations where you can make your own coasters, print a tee-shirt and create buttons. We will be selling pint glasses made in house by our local makers for you to enjoy our very own beer, The Dewey Decimator! We will also feature some amazing prize baskets with tickets for sale to draw winners.
Admission gets you four prize basket tickets. More tickets are available at check out and will be available at the door. Our prize baskets will feature cool items and gift certificates from merchants in the neighborhoods surrounding our nine libraries. We will also have a grand prize drawing for Providence Bruins season tickets!
