On the Sunday of our Birthday Weekend to round things off we will be hosting the launch of the NEW Kicked In The Teeth album, ‘Watling Street Chambers’, which is actually named after the old name of the building that we reside in, you can see the old sign if you look to the left at the front of the pub! It’s out on Northwich’s very own RARE VITAMIN RECORDS and it’ll be the first time you’ll be able to buy the physical release on 12” GREEN VINYL!!!The album is released the same weekend, so it made sense to add an album launch to the Birthday Festivities! It’ll be a Sunday MATINEE, which means it’s ALL AGES running from 2pm till 6pm, to make is even better KIDS CAN COME FOR FREE (So any under 16s can get free tickets with any adult ticket, just add them when you order through FATSOMA) kids love punk and hardcore right?
Joining KITT for this afternoon delight are the very awesome YUR MUM making a welcome return to The Salty Dog, it’s been a few years since they were last here and they’ve been going from strength to strength, playing with all of your favourite bands and smashing every festival they play! We’ve also got a very special debut from HEAVY SET, they feature our good friend Sean Howe on drums, who you many know from RANDOM HAND, but has also probably filled in for every great punk band based in the north of the last 20 years or so, they pull influence from bands like Against Me and Bruce Springsteen, so it’s the perfect way to kick off a Sunday afternoon!
