About this Event
This event will be a 2.5 hour long showcase featuring several artists apart of the R Street Studio community. We will be breaking the event into 2 acts with a brief intermission in between. Proceeding each act there will be a brief discussion with the performing artists.
R Street Studio is black owned business created by Holly Baynum. At R street "we strive to be an inclusive and comfortable space for the african american and lgbtq community that bridges the DC community through media arts and education." At R Street Studio, our motto is “We don’t just press record,” meaning we make it our mission to learn, educate and listen to our artists.
