About The Event
Narges Jajarmi and Martin Shamoonpour present a collaborative experimental performance shaped by their experiences in Tehran’s contemporary performance scene and their practice of street performance and direct audience interaction.
The work unfolds through experimental instrumentation, voice, and performative structures that prioritize spontaneity, presence, and real-time exchange with the audience. Humor is a central element of the performance, often surfacing through lyrics and shifts in delivery that disrupt and reframe the emotional tone of the piece.
More akin to a theater project than a conventional concert, the performance develops as a fluid and responsive encounter between performers and audience, informed by lived experiences of performing in Tehran’s urban and artistic environments.
