The 550-year-old Khanjali Fair (Khan Jahan Ali Fair) is a traditional, multi-day event held annually at the shrine of Saint Khan Jahan Ali in Bagerhat, Bangladesh, during the full moon in the Bangla month of Chaitra (typically March/April). It attracts thousands of devotees for prayers, holy bathing, and to browse hundreds of stalls of local food and crafts. It's a melting pot of riverine Islam with previous faiths. We will visit old structures and the fair as well.
