About this Event
Etihad Museum welcomes Boom.Diwan, led by Grammy-nominated ethnomusicologist and guitarist Dr Ghazi Al Mulaifi. Blending Gulf traditions with live improvisation, Boom.Diwan brings a contemporary edge to regional music through their pioneering approach to Khaleeji jazz.
The Kuwaiti percussionists are joined by the Abu Dhabi Folklore & Theatre Society, led by Mubarak Al Otaiba, celebrated for their powerful performances of the UAE’s maritime heritage, and Emirati sound artist Safeya Alblooshi, whose work connects sound, environment, and tradition, for a special collaborative set.
Join us to experience the evolving rhythms of the Arabian Gulf in the museum’s historic garden.
