On Friday 12 September, the KFF is holding a Gardening Working Bee involving light pruning and weeding along the Lucas Creek Trail behind the Science Block. We are very fortunate to have this special area of native bush at the heart of our campus. It is maintained by various student-led environmental groups at Kristin and the KFF are happy to support their ongoing commitment to regenerate native bush at Kristin.
We’ll meet at the stairs outside the Pavilion Cafe at 8:40am and will work until 10:45am before enjoying morning tea in the Potting Shed.
It's best to wear old clothes, suitable footwear, sunscreen and a hat. Bring along gardening gloves and your favourite small tools if you like, such as secateurs and a hand weeder (although we have plenty of gloves and tools to borrow).
Bring a friend if you like, green fingers are not at all necessary!
