“Underfoot,” an exhibition of paintings by Illinois artist Kevin Veara, will be on display at LLCC’s Trutter Museum and Murray Gallery March 2 through April 10. The gallery is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except during mid-semester break March 7–15.Veara’s acrylic work highlights the birds, plants and interconnected life of the Sangamon River ecosystem, inspired by years of observing and restoring native habitat along the river.
The museum and gallery are located on the upper level of Menard Hall at LLCC’s Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road.
